Works For Loudspeakers is an initiative from Sonorous Circle, an Australasian outlet for “adventurous music, art & emancipatory general awareness”. WFLS is a quarterly listening party showcasing emerging and established composers, with regular open calls to musicians and producers to participate by contributing a track. Listening parties occur throughout the beautiful Aotearoa (New Zealand), in which attendees are invited to exercise close listening in a friendly environment, which is a pretty amazing idea if you ask me.
I was lucky enough to submit and get accepted a track for the 2019 Summer batch of this great concept, now available to stream and download here. Downloading is “name your price”, and all proceeds go to support this beautiful outlet and initiative 🙂
